This website is run by Hale Parish Council, Hale, Hampshire.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website.

We are constantly working to make our website as accessible and usable as possible.

Hale Parish Council are aware of their responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 and the need to avoid either direct or indirect discrimination against anyone on the grounds of age, gender reassignment, marriage, pregnancy, disability, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.

We want the services we provide to be as accessible and usable as possible. In particular, we want to ensure that our website is accessible to disabled users, including those with a visual impairment.

As a small Parish Council our website is limited to text documents which can be read, or downloaded and printed as required. Although limited in scope, the site has been developed to conform with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) and the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations (Website and Mobile Applications) 2018.

If you have any difficulty in reading these documents, they can be provided in other formats, for example hard copies in large print. Please let us know the document and the format you require, and we will try to meet your needs.
