Hale Community Fibre Partnership Proposal to Deliver Full Fibre Broadband to Residential and Business Premises in Hale


Earlier this year the Parish Council agreed to sponsor a village scheme to provide Full Fibre Broadband to all homes and businesses in the village. Woodgreen Parish Council is also sponsoring a scheme for Woodgreen addresses. Working with Openreach two Community Partnership Schemes have been developed to provide full fibre broadband direct to most properties in both villages.


Funding to support the schemes is being made available through the Government’s Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme and Hampshire County Council’s Broadband Programme.


John Mangan is leading the project in Hale and a public meeting will be held at Hale Village Hall on 30th September at 7.00pm to discuss the proposal and answer questions.
